Watched Sherlock Holmes on tuesday @ The Cathay with the usual minus a few cause tp already started school. A very good movie i must admit, not alot of thinking involved on the audiences' side but it was suspenseful with an added humour in it. After that, had an awesome dinner at a resturant introduced by Jon.

Went to clementi for buffet with the canoeists @ Sakura on wednesday. Took bus 165 from hougang all the way to clementi mrt cause i was gyming at hougang, then had to change to another bus to reach the resturant, took me a total of one and a half hour just to get there... Went to play lan after lunch at Clarke Quay, which took another long bus ride. Finally get to play CS after so long and played L4D2 for the first time, awesome! hahaha

Having steamboat at my house later but it seems so impromtu and so poorly planed. Untill now i have no idea who is coming. LOL Ahh heck it la, just go with the flow everything will come to place.

Another year has come and gone. It was an eventfull year(everybody knows why, no point bringing up bad memories HAHAHA), really have alot to be thankful for especially to those who have help me along the way even with just a small guesture, not going to mention any names or write a long post about it cause there is really alot but they know who they are. Watched 2012 last friday, i really dont know whether i should love the show or hate it. There was so much anitcipation and expectation about the movie however that doesnt seems to show in the movie. It wasnt a really bad movie to be honest, it was entertaining enough to glue you to it for 157mins but at the end of it you cant help feeling something lame about the movie. hahaha

Anyway watched Hurt Locker on saturday night. It was an impromptu decision by Jon to watched, called me at 7pm and ask me whether i want to watch anot. Great movie though, espically the part where the main character's hand went inside a dead boy's body to retrieve a bomb. But if you are not a fan of war movie, dont even bother. After the movie, Jon was sending us home and when we were approaching my house there was a police roadblock, at freaking 11plus pm?! Didnt know that roadblocks were early and in a residential area... hhmmm

Night Safari-ed for the first time yesterday and as expected, it was way better than the zoo. As they were celebrating halloween, they were people dress up in costume to scare people especially the japanese girls. They were like being chased around by those "ghost". Back from Malaysia last night, was very tired by the time i got home. Learnt some new terms about Islamic Banking, but man, i hope that when i come out to work i dont have to work in that sector. The bank's rules and regulation are really very hard to comprehand cause they follow the teaching of the Quran, which i dont have any knowledge of. Anyway other than that, went up to genting for the first time of my life!( Dont laugh, i had a boring childhood). The place was damn cold, even colder than cameron highland. Overall the trip was quite fun but very tiring.(only had about 4hrs of sleep each day) and i didnt buy anything at all. So dont expect anything from me. Hahaha

Went for the trip briefing yesterday and found out that we are required to bring along a set of formal clothes "business trip" they were saying. -.- So fucking annoying, it means i cannot pack all my stuff into a single backpack now.

Watched Inglourious Basterd after that at plaza sing. Its been awhile since i've watched movie there and i think i know the why... the seats were so fucking hard. Anyway the movie was great, way better than gamer. Its abit more bloody than Gamer, the story has more meaning and it was damn funny. Although the movie can really do without some of the unnecessary scenes because the movie is really really long. Nonetheless, a great movie you should catch if you are those who dont whine and fidget when there's blood(yes i'm talking about you, eveyln) haha!

Watched Gamer yesterday, not really as good as seen in the trailer. The story was alittle bit confusing and sometimes i find that some of the scenes has no meaning. But in terms of gore wise, it was quite good. Lots of head and limbs getting blown away. Haha Anyway still left with Inglorious Basterd.

Caught G Force yesterday and i must say that i'm really not a fan of it. Not because of the story or the graphics of the movie, as a matter of fact the graphic was quite good. But it was because of the charaters, the small furry guinea pigs, hamsters and mole, especially the mole with its fuzzy nose, runing around trying to save the day... really not my thing. I must confess that i not exactly a fan of small furry animals as well, whenever they appear in front on the screen i feel very uncomfortable and especially when they do a close up on the mole's nose. Its like the worst looking thing i've ever seen.(I think its gonna huant me for several nights) Arghh~ Anyway it is still an alright movie if you are between 4-8 i guess.

Holidays have been great so far! Sleeping most of the time but still manage to go out.

Went to gym on monday after a long while. Really regret it cus my muscles really hurt after that. Saw an aunty buying groceries in the morning HAHA! Spend the rest of the day lazing around and spamming photos before meeting up with my friends for Ron's farewell in the evening, poor guy is booking in on thursday. Went for dinner at bliss @ ponggol park or something like that. Didnt expect much at first but damn when the food was serve, the smell really melt you. The food was awesome! After that went to pick up some guy who just finish work and went for supper, again, at swensens. HAHAHA!

The long awaited day have arrived, exams are over! Although i think i screwed up today's paper, but who gives a shit. I think botak jones' steak taste better, maybe its just personally preference. Got the t-shirts i wanted and watched Year One. Been awhile since i left this space. Theres nothing much i really want to blog about actually, everything is so boring right now due to the exam.
Highlight of this week: Had a formal presentation on monday and a paper for CRM which was the last of any project for this sem. Went for dinner at seoul garden after that with a few classmates.
Tuesday and wednesday was spent trying to revise for the exams at home which was really a waste of time at the end of the day.
Went out for out to buy some stuff at paragon on thursday, but in the end didnt. Went to a unique japanses resturant at fareast before cabbing down to esplanade to study, landed up studying for only an hour before heading home. But meet up with the others to study at compass height at night which was more productive.
Overnight at another friend's house on friday to study and bought a shoe from him, lol.
Headed home on saturday afternoon, overheard a very interesting conversation but forgotten what it was already. The whole day was spent sleeping and watching tv.
Sunday was spent doing more revision but was really distracted by the laptop.
That sums up the week, pretty boring huh?

The guy told me that the virus was blocking my internet connection. -.- So bo bian have to reformat my laptop. Phew~ Mst finally over...

I've learnt that perseverance will lead to a good thing cause during MA1, i couldnt get the answer at first then i thought that there was something wrong with the data. But a lecturer told me that the data were correct and one student even got full marks with that data. So i decided to attempt the qns again, but after 1/2 an hour i still couldnt get the right ans so i decided to ask the teacher for help. I keep on insisting that there was something wrong with the data and finally andrew low told me to check my investment and i realise my mistake! XD

Went to watched Transformer 2 today, the movie was good. The transformation and the various transformers were really cool, but the fight scene was abit messy so i cant really see who is beating who up. After watching the movie i came up with a conclusion that the robots dont not really need that much fire power because most of the time when a robot is destroyed its either tear apart by bare hands or by a melee weapons. -.-

Got two bad news today. -.- The first one was that my bone did not actually had a hole in it like most of you might know. Apparently during the appointment today i was told that it was actually a tumor! BUT it wasnt cancerous and after that operation, everything is suppose to be fine therefore i'm able to keep my hair and i have to go back regularly for follow up to make sure nothing serious happen. If you think that was bad enough, the second one nearly made me cry. The doctor told me that i still have to use the crutches for another month as there was still a hairline crack that has not heal. So that means another month of waiting for me...

Tmr will be the moment of truth when i step into the hospital for the doctor appointment. I will be able to see my recovery progress and most importantly whether i can learn to walk. I'm really afraid that the doctor would say that i have to walk with the crutches for another month! I'm really hoping that i can walk soon but i know that i shldn't be putting my hopes so high. Moreover my leg does not really feel 100% fine, sometimes the wound would still hurt a little bit. But i really want to walk asap! So no matter what religion or god you believe in please please PLEASE pray hard for me, ya?

What Are Friends For?

There goes the second week of school. Had loads of fun ytd, went to zhi wai house for steamboat and table bbq dinner with the usual few and the food was great. Finally got to hang out after the incident. Had a cake cutting session after that for all the march and april babies. After everyone was fed and satisfied, we decided to play monopoly and i learnt a new rule about the game! Did you know that all the tax paid have to go to free parking and any lucky guy who lands there can collect the money? Well if you did good for you cause i didnt... Anyway played till it was really late and everybody was like so into the game. But we had to go off cause the girls have to be home before 12. So all 6 of us squeezed into zhiwai's mom car(ok not all, they, cause i was sitting in the front, cant blame me though LOL!) and she drove us home. Olivia reached her house at exactly 12am! And by the time i got home it was ard 1am. Her mom dropped me directly under my block and danial even accompanied to my doorstep.(so touched haha).

I have this bad though recently. I'm not keen on going back canoeing after i recover. I bet some will be shock to read this.haha.. I dont know why but it seems like i've lost the enthusiasm for the sport and i want to do something different. Maybe because I dont want to be like my old self again, training all day long without spending time with my friends and family or because i've grown distance from the sport, the club and the people or i really have grown lazy. But somehow i know that at the end of day i will still be canoeing cause i'm very unadventurous and cant adapt to change well. I'll be back doing the same old thing again that i'm comfortable and familiar with.

School started started this week and its wednesday already! Time is flying by way too fast. How i wish there is a pause button for me to stop time, wait for my leg to recover fully before starting it again. ARGH! Feel like i'm wasting alot of time without my leg... There use to be a time where i'm able to do some many things in one day... Anyway two more weeks left before my next appt and i hope that the doctor will allow me to use my leg by then, so pray for me guys. ;D

Going to school is a bitch without one leg but thanks to my old classmates it wasnt that bad. To have someone to buy food, open the door for you feels good! haha But seriously they really took care of me for this pass few days, especially athar. He is like my nanny although he is complaining all the time.

Been debating with myself since yesterday about something that has really no link to anything, as a result of boredom. I was debating whether it is more pratical to buy a sports car or a SUV in Singapore. Singapore isn't really big and there aren't any place for you to speed around in a roadster and there are only smooth road in Singapore, therefore SUV are more of a want then a need. But imagine that you have a bit of money in your pocket, but not enough for you to buy a lamborghini or an aston martin and your parents will break your leg if they see you on a bike, which type of car would you go for?

Never felt so useless and wasted in my entire life before. It’s so frustrating that you cannot take care of yourself and you need to intrude into other people’s life just so the your basic everyday needs can be meet even though the person is someone close to you and you know that he or she will not mind the extra work or chore. But it me mad that a person of my own age and physic still have to bother someone who have already spent half of their life trying to make a comfortable life for you to help you to the toilet, feed medicine or even just to make sure that you are comfortable and not in pain in the middle of night. It really make my heart ache every time another word of encouragement came rushing out of their mouth. It makes one regret all the decision that you have made against them before and you really want to apologise to them about all the wrong things you have done in the past and tell them just how much you love them and how much they mean to you. And you want to shout that without them in this world you would not be who you are and you may not be able to accomplish what you already have. They guide me through the deepest time of my life and never once thought of giving up on me. Its make me sick that at this point of time it is still they taking care of me. It makes me hate myself so much more…

Did dragonboating for the first time yesterday and i must say that its quite fun, although you cant really feel the speed of the boat unlike canoe. Njcc is coming up soon and i still have not sprint 1000m yet!! All i have been doing for the past few trainings is just clocking distance... But coach already said that we cant win any medals for this competition cause we are really up against monster who are really damn fast. So no high hopes for us i guess, just there to make up numbers and to gain "experience". Haha

Watched Marley And Me today after training. It was quite a good show, quite touching. Really should go catch it if you havent.

Well on a side note, i've been feeling pain in my left leg this few days. I think because of last tuesday run. The floor was really wet and we have to sprint for the last 100m, I think i've slip and pull my leg or something. I cant stand on one leg now and have trouble walking sometimes and i cant even wearmy pants properly!!! Damn it... i'm so weak....

WHOO! Exams are over and holiday is here. It was one hell of a week, had econs on monday, pacc on wednesday and stats on friday. Went to school to gym and study on tuesday and thursday. And of course went swimming on friday with the gang after stats to relax. Then came along the weekend... which i spent it at macritchie, training.....duh! HAHA! Saturday training was bad, everything, from the direction to my stroking, felt wrong. After training still had to do push up and pull up... Sunday training wasnt that bad other than the fact that i have to do resistant training, my first row with resistant! The boat was so bloody heavy and the sun didnt make it any better. All i can hear while rowing was the water rushing against the resistant and the howling of the wind in my ear. But the plus side was the boat was very stable and i was able to go relatively straight and practice my strokes. And this conclude my week, i know its very boring but what can i do, i'm boring guy... HAHA!

Hope the whole class turn up for the bbq. And my mom is bugging me to buy a sunglass or make a transition one, although she wanted me to buy a transition one cuz its more practical she says...

SCM is finally over, I'm so glad that it had passed. The waves, the wind and potages was one hell of a fight with the forces of nature. It was my first marathon on a cboat and it was damn nerve racking. But still, cant say i didnt really enjoyed it. The scenery of kallang and the showering area definitely beats macritchie and most important of all no paddle lodge people. May consider coming back next year to compete in the race again!

Happy New Year! Well 2008 have past and it was a blast for me. Met new people, tried new things. Looking forward to the new year and hope that it will be as great as the one before.

Went esplanade last night to count down after school and training and MAN the crowd was insane. But we manage to grab an empty spot to view the firework. There was live band concert playing and the indians was dancing like crazy. Haha. Didnt went for supper with the rest after the count down cus i was very tired so went home to sleep instead. haha..

Watch this two movies yesterday. YesMan with canoe team mates in the morning because training was cancled and BedtimeStories with jingyi, eve and chunrong. YesMan was better then BedtimeStories , it was funnier and the story line was better. I felt that BedtimeStories was abit lame but adam sandler was a good actor so still not so bad.

Caught this show yesterday. It wasn't what i had expected. There wasn't alot of fight scene but rather love and introduction of the vampire world, maybe there will be a sequel to the movie. I didn't really understand the first part of the movie cause the acting, i felt, was abit werid but slowly the movie will catch your full attention. It was still watchable with quite a number of funny scenes but not really the best movie this year. Feel like reading the book, maybe someone can lend it to me or buy it for me as christmas present? I have no idea what to buy for christmas eve.....

Wassup people! Back from China this morning around 5.30, 6am? Was feeling very tired when I reach home. So took a quick shower before heading to bed.

China was more then what i have imagine. The scenery was great, the hotel was great, the toilet was quite clean although the service was .... The food arrange by the tour agency was average but we when out for supper on our own at night and the food was the best.

When to places like shanghai, wuxi, shuzhou, hangzhou and maybe more that i am not sure of. When to visit the site where the three kingdom and other ancient china movies was flim at wuxi where they react a battle scene with real horses and battle weapon(it was really really cool), tea plantation in some village at the corner of china, a lake its size enough to own Singapore but it was really beautiful and fancy acrobat in shanghai.

China looks like Singapore mix HongKong and Malaysia except colder much much colder.

Today's training was crazy! Woke up late today because it was raining. Suppose to be at mac at 7.30 but i woke up at 7.30 instead! Didnt feel like going but since i'm going oversea for a week so might as well train hard this week. Cab down to mac and manage to reach there by 8. When we started paddling it started raining again but coach didnt stop the training so we had to paddle in the rain instead. The wind was damn strong and the rain water was falling down like ice needles! Had problem with the direction cause i'm not used to paisheng. The worst part was while i was struggling with the paddling, i got scolded from coach for not putting in all my effort. -.- Got to anticipate more of such weather this month cause the monsoon season is here. Polo 3 0n 3 comming too. Got to train hard for it, feel like the weakest link in my team. Damn
